The Piratical scientists of Port Charlotte High School competed at the 55th annual Alva Edison Science Fair on the Florida Gulf Coast University campus and had fun, while learning a great deal.

With science fair sponsor Judy Tornwall, the 10 winners from the PCHS Science Fair in December who competed in the regional were: Hannah Cox, Lauren Clark, Alex Harvey, Zach Hinand, Alyssa Karr, Jordan Manalili, Cessna Manalili, Justin Mercado, Zoe Skowronski and Emily Treasure.
