SCF charter school gets nod

SARASOTA COUNTY — The Sarasota County School Board voted 4-1 Tuesday to approve a charter school application for State College of Florida to create a collegiate high school on its South Venice campus.

School Board member Carol Todd cast the lone “nay” vote.
