Trial begins in sea turtle case

PUNTA GORDA — An Englewood woman accused of harming a sea turtle nest was in court Monday, the first day of a third-degree felony hearing.
Juanita Schultz, 75, was charged with knowingly harming a sea turtle nest in front of her beach front property on Manasota Key in June 2010. She could face up to five years in prison.
