Fran Taley says a new program, "Cooking Matters: Arcadia," is coming to town to teach low-income adults, children and caregivers about how to prepare nutritional meals on a tight budget. ARCADIA — Close to 50 businesses came out Tuesday afternoon to the Turner Agri-Civic Center to display their goods and services at the DeSoto Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Business Showcase.
“They get the opportunity to really talk to potential customers,” chamber board member Kristen Spahr said.
